As I laid in bed, feeling miserable, trying really hard to fall asleep last night, my thoughts floated back to my family, love ones in Singapore. How my mom would come by to my bed and feel my head when I ran a fever bcos of food poisoning previously.
The throat itched, the mind is irritated. The nose breathe heavily… As I yearn for closeness and concern, I indulge in self-pity for a brief moment. Knowing that The Lord is aware and one has been set aside.
As I walked towards the ladies room, after conducting the 6th period of the day, I realized that those were the reaction of a woman.
That I allowed myself to take pity, but not overindulged. I know that I will be taken care of. That I do not dwell on it, but instead bounced back and looked forward. It is but a passing phase and it will be fine.
When I finally slipped into deep slumber after 2 paracetomol and 2 danzen tablets, it was a deep and peaceful rest.
Waking up to a new day, I thank God that His mercies are renewed everyday and He gives His beloved rest.
and of course that beautiful shift dress from ASOS that I can look graceful in with minimal effort and makeup (you know you love them when you absolutely dont feel like going to work on that day (and other times too)). π
*BwhAhahAHHAaha.
and I love love love love this Daisies Mono!!!!!

Went by to Chanel’s Little Black Jacket @ SAM
<Click to see video of its making>
Similar jacket, in multiple different ways, different adaptations.
Not saying I would don it in 2014, just that style is understated. π
As Rachel Zoe says, βStyle is a way to say who you are without having to speak.β
A quickie link to “10 Reasons Why You Should Dress Up Everyday”
Art Exhibition? Or a marketing tool to set Chanel on another level?
Labels are a force to reckon with. π

Shoess.. My Nemesis…
At the right shop, Β they cost me over $170 in less than 20mins.
Shoes… the right one, they help me float with poise and humanity on the street. They grab attention, they lift me up, they prance like everyday is a celebration.
Shoes… the right one and they take you to everywhere you go. Not like a duck or a marching band, but a nimble lady, gracing the public with your presence.
Shoes…
Thought I should start an album since they deserve that attention. Being a teacher doesnt take away my desire for pretty shoes. I still believe I can wear heels and maintain that poise though I have to stand for a couple of hours each day. So heres some beautiful ones to share. Β Share yours if they are donned differently~
These whites are so Cinderella… (in other sense of “Cinderella” that is, not the glass slipper)
These fuchsia is insane, but well, whats a little colour right? π
The very versatile black. Needs no introduction. Not a big fan of wedge, but well, this height is good for teaching, and why not since wedge is good support?
Perhaps can be used for teaching, π These versatile blacks, they are for all occasion. A little dressy for the nearby mall? A little height but not too high, for the town window shopping? A little formality for the formal occasion. Its all it. *thumbs up!
This is insane! Its so glittery, but, its fine, thats what shoes are for, so when the audience look from the bottom up. You’ve already scored! Yes I do have blue dresses. and they go well even with black 3/4s! π
Ladies and gentleman, this needs no further talk. π
This is an old enough pair. I love its red (oxblood, as listed) but its subtle. Its presence and persona all in one.
Confidence is more than what people perceived of you. Confidence is what you present to people.
I had a dilemma…
Bought these 2 fabulous looking shoes, and I want to use them as soon as I can. I bought them.. I believe in Sept or Oct. Its never a wise idea to keep shoes for too long. >_<
I love the leather wanna be look. Its chic and the height is just right. The details of the rims. *sluRP! BUY. If it fits, BUY!
and then theres this pair of wedge.
When was the last time you see checkers on height? Checkers are so casual, so youthful, like a child skipping steps as he walks. But its in height. Its classy, its a ladies’ shoes.
So theres this Chanel’s Little Black Jacket exhibition that I wanted to go for. I wanted to decide on which one of these 2 shoes to go with the dress… Although the answer is obvious… π
and in the end…
tADA!
Now it raises the question: What do I match the wedge with???
3/4 pants? The heels look better π
Jeans skirt? Not a bad idea…
We’ll see…

P/S: I think the dress, though it looks great, needs tapering… no waist line, no hips. :/
Went by to OTO’s e-Shape’s launch and had the chance to try out the product.
Super bling isnt it? π
But more than just a nice item,
The new e-Shape is equipped with a unique technology that is based on both acupuncture points and sports science. Users can look forward to detoxification and a healthier digestive system as the e-Shape uses high and varying oscillating speeds to stimulate certain acupressure points on the body.
Designed for a younger and trendier generation, the OTO e-Shape is a sleek and stylish slimming belt that can be attached to different parts of the body β arms, shoulder, abdomen, back, waist, hips, thighs, calves β to be massaged. Contrary to the perceived notion that all slimming belts are large and unwieldy contraptions, the e-Shape comes in a compact design to allow users to carry it around in their bags and even use it while driving or in the comfort of their homes.
The bloggers had the chance to try to bling up our version of the e-Shape, oh mine is so far fetch!

Went by to JB for a short trip recently. A stone throw away to the Premium Outlets at JB
Johor Premium Outlets
Jalan Premium Outlets
Indahpura 81000 Kulaijaya
Johor Darul Takzim
Malaysia
Think its really nothing to scream about.
No sweat, it looks like that. Big space, brown bricks, little shops outlet.
I’m not a shopping or branded goods fanatics, but the friends that went with me knows their stuff.
So heres the feedback I’ve gathered.
Myself:
1) The pricing is really just like the Singapore Sales Season.
2) ‘cept that you dont have to squeeze with people, more spacious.
3) Dont really have to queue for dressing rooms
4) Dont really have to “fight” for sizes
5) You’ll still get the Malaysian style of service, where “conversation with my colleague is far more important to meeting your needs/serving you
Friends:
1) Most guys can shop for the sports products
2) Adidas brings in current products
3) Nike does it like it’s factory outlet, not so much of its current products more of the mass product kind.
I dont shop for clothes much when I’m overseas, generally I would go hunting for shoes. π
Went in to Charles and Keith and Pedro. So they have these shelves of fixed promotion prices and other different priced items.
Cheapest I saw in both shops are going for Ringgit at $49.90
I got my steal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! π
Pedro’s 4inch at Ringgit$49.90 each, thats like SGD$20
π
Thats just plain lucky, cos its hard to find styles I like and shoes my size. Size 10/11.
So after the shopping, my beloved Iris and I went for food.
They have a huge food court there. Too crowded for our liking.
Nice Chinese, Thai and Japanese restaurant.
Cant really decide, but in the end we went to this Western food restaurant. George and Dragon Cafe.
We saw the setting, so thought the food should be quite okay..
But it wasnt, its… we might as well eat at the food court.
Ringgit$22+ for 8 pieces of Calamari…
Their Sherwood chicken, not worth the money and its like the same slab of chicken with different sauces for the different dishes.
If you are just there for tea and to rest the legs, then its okay
Nice big pot for about Ringgit$8?
But you can always go to Baskin Robbins for ice-cream if a nice break is called for.
That Premium outlet visit, the shoes were the perk, the restaurant. nah.
Probably will go back again to get shoes π
This was available at the entrance
the website also provide some information on how to get there. π

I did Gelish manicure recently!
I like it.
I dont know what is Gelish about, google for it and I get is advertorials or blog entries from people that seems really happy of their manicure. This is the closest I can get to perhaps a more neutral explanation.
Gelish is a soak off gel nail product that applies similar to regular nail polish, but lasts for up to three weeks with no chipping or fading.
Gelish is a UV nail gel that is applied in several steps, requiring either a 36 watt UV or LED lamp to cure the gel. Gelish nail gel is similar to other UV soak off nail gel systems, such as Shellac or OPI Axxium. Nail gels can be applied to your natural nails, without causing the damage of acrylics. Nail growth with nail gels is covered with a fill-in coat, similar to acrylic nails. The product is brushed on like regular nail polish.

So I did mine too, as it is shown above, I did french style, cos my dearest Kim is fully booked in these upcoming week, so I’ll better do something that is lasting into Chinese New Year , and even if it starts to strip, it isnt too obvious or unglam, so I thought of French.
Information online says it’ll last 3 weeks without chipping or fading.
I guess thats the coatings for Gelish nail polish itself.
What’s your reaction when you hear “Vietnam Brides”?
Love It? Hate It?
Well, for me, I guess all in love is fair, meaning, ya, in as much as Singaporean men are picking up foreign brides hence less Singaporean men for me to choose, I believe love doesn’t come and land on your lap. To certain extend you need to work for it.
And if what the men want is a simple wife to sit at home and be the perfect housewife, then, thanks for helping me to do the eliminating. π
Got a gift from Havaianas through Word of Mouth
π they say its for my birthday.
Anyway, talking about Havaianas, both the pairs I’ve received are gifts!
